Ballyvolane House is located in East County Cork in southern Ireland between the townlands of Britway and Castlelyons, close to the market towns of Fermoy, Midleton and Tallow and also within a short distance of Cork City.

Ballyvolane House is a historic Irish country house providing luxury accommodation and salmon fishing on the river Blackwater (Ballyvolane has over six miles of privately-managed salmon fishing on the Blackwater).

In addition to six luxurious bedrooms (all with beautiful views overlooking formal gardens, parklands and trout lakes), Ballyvolane also offers Glamping options (available from May to September), in the form of 4 / 5-metre bell tents, a Glamping Arc, and a Father Ted style caravan.

The Glamping facility is a fully-catered, fully serviced glamping experience with all meals, drinks, afternoon tea provided in the main house.

There is also a a recently restored self-catering traditional cottage available to rent.

Ballyvolane House's most recent recognition was a Gold Medal Award 2015 "Ireland's Guest Experience", awarded at the Hotel & Catering Review Keeling's Gold Medal Awards on 29th September 2015.
