Guidelines for submitting articles

Thank you for your interest in contributing to WoofAdvisor.com.

Our goals are to be an advocate for Pet Lovers travelling with their Pets.

Our tag line is "Pet Travel. For Pet Lovers."

Our goal is to help make travelling with Pets easy and fun so everything we include on the site must promote this goal by providing useful, relevant, independent, trustworthy information on any of the following:

  • Destinations
  • Accommodation
  • Services
  • Amenities
  • Groups
  • Rescues / Charities.

Articles by experienced travellers / Guest posting provides an opportunity for members of our community and visitors to our site to share their experiences. We welcome stories of your personal experiences of traveling with your pets, regardless of whether it's in your own local area or something more long distance.

WoofAdvisor prides itself on providing high quality, informative, entertaining, enlightening, unique articles and research about all of the above and – most importantly - experiences.

What we want: Thanks but no fluff, standard guidebook descriptions, (self) promotional hype; just honest, accurate, well-written, relevant, articles and destination guides that speak directly to our community of caring, devoted pet lovers.

We all know how important images are becoming so please include your photo galleries to give us lots of choices.

People read websites differently to printed material - they scan websites, sub headings etc., and pick out what's of interest, so short paragraphs, a good heading + plenty of subheadings, interspersed with photos with good captions all make for easier reading and more engaged readers.

The types of locations we are interested in are those that are accessible to most travellers, not just the wealthy, explorers, or extreme anything – remember we are catering for people travelling with their pets!

Topics
Practical advice, Do's and Don'ts and How-to's are great.

Posts that highlight pet friendly activities or take a detailed look at one location are especially popular.

How long?
Ideally articles will be from 500 words upwards.  Very long articles may be published in stages.
