Family & Pet-Friendly Destination Guide – Orlando Florida

Orlando - Lake Buena Vista - Kissimmee - Bay Lake - Celebration

Located in Central Florida, Orlando's popularity as a family vacation destination is largely based on it being home to the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort, the most visited vacation resort in the world covering 25,000 acres and comprising four Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios), two Water Parks (Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach), 27 themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, four golf courses, camping facilities, plus extensive entertainment and shopping facilities!

International Drive

Most of Orlando's other major attractions are located along International Drive (I-Drive), the city's main tourist strip (including Universal Orlando Resort), together with Hotels, Restaurants, Shopping, and the Orange County Convention Center.

Other significant attractions include:

SeaWorld Orlando, LegoLand, day trips to the Everglades or the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral.
