Planning a trip with your four-legged buddy in tow? Here's our first in a series of dog-friendly travel itineraries across the United Kingdom to help you plan your trip.
We’ve kicked off with the Cotswolds, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and covering 800 square miles across five counties (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire).
Some of the historic towns within the Cotswolds include Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Stroud and Witney.
Please note: most hotels have a limited number of designated dog-friendly rooms. This needs to be specified and confirmed when booking to avoid arriving to find no suitable room available.
Also, some premises do not have a formal Pet Policy other than “small, well-behaved dogs welcome”. We strongly recommend confirming your individual requirements in advance as part of the booking process.
